Here you will find information about the most common payment issues — we will explain what the errors mean and show you how to quickly fix them so you can continue shopping without interruptions.

The most common reasons for transaction declines:

Insufficient funds on the card balance (Error Code: #D001)

Why does this happen?

Insufficient funds on the card balance is one of the most common errors when paying with virtual cards. This error can occur for several reasons — follow our recommendations for a successful payment.

What to do?

  • Check your card balance and top it up using any convenient method. After the funds are credited, retry the payment.

  • Keep more funds on the card than the purchase amount to cover both the cost and any applicable fees.

For Visa Easy and Visa Pro cards, transaction fees are charged — it’s important to account for them. For example, Visa Easy has a fee of 2.5% of the payment amount, but no less than $1. Mastercard Pro charges $0.50 + 1% per successful transaction.

For example, if the subscription costs $20 and you are paying with a Pro card, you need to have at least $20.50 on the balance.

What not to do?

  • Do not attempt multiple payments if there are insufficient funds — this may lead to additional fees and card blocking.

  • Unlink the card from services you no longer use to avoid automatic charges by merchants — this may lead to extra fees and card blocking.

  • Do not link the card to services or activate trial periods if you are not planning to continue using them — this may lead to permanent card blocking.

Helpful tips and information:

Always check your card balance before making a purchase. You can review all tariffs and terms here: .

Merchant Category Not Allowed (Error Code: #D005)

Why does this happen?

Violation of card usage rules during payment. The card may be blocked by the merchant. The merchant category is restricted for payment by the card-issuing bank.

Restricted merchant categories:

• Mining • Adult Industry • Money Services Business • Stock Promotion • Waste Management

• Arms Trading – Retail/Manufacturing • Casinos/Gaming • Cryptocurrency

• Government/Military/Public Agency • Marijuana Services Business

What to do?

Make sure your payment conditions meet the requirements:

  1. Your location during payment must match the billing address region of the issued card.

  2. Check the account region on the service you are trying to pay — it must not belong to restricted countries.

  3. The product/service cost must not be in a currency from restricted countries. Payment for services from these countries is also not allowed.

List of restricted countries — Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Serbia, Pakistan.

If all requirements are met and the error persists, it means the merchant is restricted by the card-issuing bank. It is not possible to bypass this error.

What not to do?

  • Do not attempt multiple payments if you encounter this error — it may lead to card blocking.

Restricted Country (Error Code: #D004)

Why does this happen?

The merchant is located in a country or region restricted by the card-issuing bank.

What to do?

  • Make sure your payment conditions meet the following requirements:

    1. The service you are trying to pay for must not belong to the list of restricted countries — Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Serbia, Pakistan.

    2. Your location during payment must match the billing address region of the issued card.

    3. The product/service cost must not be in a currency of the restricted countries.

  • Try finding other platforms or services offering similar goods/services outside the restricted countries.

What not to do?

  • Do not attempt multiple payments if you encounter this error — it may lead to card blocking.

Unknown Error (Error Code: #D002)

Why does this happen?

If you see the message “Unknown error” during payment, it means that we currently have no description for this error in our database. Such errors can occur for various reasons — from specifics of the particular merchant to non-standard restrictions from the payment system.

What to do?

Please contact our support team via . We will help you investigate the issue and provide exact recommendations.

Transaction Limit Exceeded (Error Code: #D003)

Why does this happen?

The payment amount exceeds the maximum limit allowed for a single transaction. These restrictions are set by the issuing bank or the payment system and may depend on:

  • the type of card used,

  • the merchant category,

  • the country from which the payment is made.

What to do?

Try reducing the payment amount or splitting it into several transactions.

If the problem persists — please contact our support team via . We will suggest how to complete the payment using another method.

Repeated Declined Transaction (Error Code: #D006)

Why does this happen?

The system detected several attempts to process the same transaction in a row. This may be perceived as suspicious activity and automatically blocked by the payment system or the bank.

Such errors often occur when:

  • you try to pay for the same purchase again immediately after a failed attempt,

  • the previous transaction is still being processed, but you already initiated a new one,

  • the same merchant/amount/card is used within a short period.

What to do?

Wait 10–15 minutes before trying again.

Try using a VPN, mobile internet, and make sure your device location is not identified as Russia.

Third Declined Transaction (Error Code: #D007)

Why does this happen?

This error occurs when there are three consecutive failed payment attempts from the card. It usually happens when a card is linked to a service (e.g., a subscription), but there are not enough funds on the card. The service tries to charge automatically at equal time intervals — and three consecutive failed attempts are recorded by the system.

What to do?

If you no longer plan to use the service — unlink the card in the service settings.

If you want to continue using it — top up the card and retry the payment after a pause (not immediately).

3 or More Declined Transactions (Error Code: #B001)

Why does this happen?

The system detected more than three consecutive failed payment attempts. This usually happens when a card is linked to a service (e.g., a subscription) that regularly tries to charge it. The most common reason is insufficient funds, but other issues are also possible — for example, merchant category restrictions or payment provider errors.

What to do?

Try topping up your card and retrying the payment later.

If you do not plan to use the service — unlink the card in the service settings.

10 or More Declined Transactions (Error Code: #B002)

Why does this happen?

The system detected 10 or more consecutive failed payment attempts. This activity may be seen as suspicious by the system. In some cases, the issuing bank may automatically restrict the card’s operations based on internal security rules.

What to do?

Stop further payment attempts and make sure that:

  • the card is not linked to active subscriptions or services,

  • there are sufficient funds on the card,

  • the payment details are entered correctly.
