# Steam top-up card
The card lets you top up your Steam balance and pay for purchases in the store. You receive a one-time code, activate it, and easily buy popular games, seasonal new releases, and in-game content.
#### How to get a card with a code
1. Go to our [mini-app](https://telegram.me/WantToPayBot?start=w17851188--luMLI).
2. Choose the Steam gift card in the showcase and click Get card.
3. Choose a convenient payment method.
4. Select the desired denomination — the price will be reflected in the app immediately.
5. Copy the code that will arrive in the [bot @WantToPayBot.](https://telegram.me/WantToPayBot?start=w17851188--luMLI)
If the code doesn’t arrive, write to [the support service](https://telegram.me/WantToPaySupportBot). We’ll help you figure it out.
#### How to activate the code
1. **Open your Steam Wallet**
Click the avatar or profile name in the top-right corner and select “My Wallet.”
2. **Go to code activation**
On the Wallet page, click “Add funds,” then select “Steam Wallet code or gift card code.”
3. **Enter the code**
Enter the code you received through the Wanttopay bot and click “Continue.” Wait until the “Continue” status changes to “In progress.”
4. **Check the balance**
If everything went successfully, a “Done!” window will appear, and the balance in the account will change.
#### If you have trouble with activation
❌ **Can't find the code activation option**
Try scrolling further down the Wallet page or open the menu: Games → Redeem a Steam Wallet Code.
❌ **Steam says the code is invalid or already used**
Check whether the code was entered correctly. Pay attention to similar characters: **0 / O**, **1 / I**and also to the keyboard layout language.
❌ **Can't activate the code because of the region**
Make sure the region of your card matches the Steam account code.
Sometimes Steam may show a different billing country — for example, if you logged into the account from another country or changed the region before.\
In this case, open “Add funds” on the Wallet page, click the “Country” section, and select “Convert store and wallet.” After that, set the required billing country.
#### Card prices
The price depends on the denomination and is displayed when ordering the card in the Wanttopay mini-app.
#### What’s important to know
— **You cannot transfer funds to another user.** Once topped up, the balance cannot be sent to another account or transferred to another person.
— **The gift card code is one-time use.** After activation, it can't be used again, so **do not share** the code with other people.
— **The card is a one-time code**, so it is not displayed or stored in your account inside [the Wanttopay mini-app](https://telegram.me/WantToPayBot?start=w17851188--luMLI).
