# Basic Rules

A few simple rules to make card payments with Wanttopay go smoothly.

#### Before paying

* Enter your real first and last name if the service asks for the cardholder's name.
* Check the country in the service settings. It must match the card's billing address country.
* Your location (IP) must match the card's billing address.
* The card can be used in different countries — the main thing is that the service accepts this type of card.

#### Which currency to choose

The card's main currency is USD. If the service offers a choice of payment currency, we recommend choosing dollars.

If you can only pay in another currency, that's okay: **the conversion will happen automatically**.

#### Where to view transactions

You can view your transaction history in the **Home** in the [mini-app](https://telegram.me/WantToPayBot?start=w17851188--luMLI) Wanttopay.

If something didn't work out, ask the AI assistant a question or take a look at [**Popular questions**](/wanttopay-app/english/kak-polzovatsya-kartoi/populyarnye-voprosy.md) — the answer may already be there.

#### How to withdraw money from the card

You can't transfer money from a virtual card to another card. The card also cannot receive transfers from other people — it is intended only for payments, not for receiving funds.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://faq.wanttopay.net/wanttopay-app/english/kak-polzovatsya-kartoi/osnovnye-pravila.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
